17 past awardees, IWEC supporters and Chamber execs gathered at the only authentic Peruvian restaurant in South Africa today to honour and applaud our 2013 awardees/ mentees, bond with past awardees and plan our trip to Lima. The Cape Chamber delegation will be at least 15 strong.

Keenwa restaurant with its P.I.S.C.O Bar was the perfect venue for the energetic South African IWEC family, with its hip and happening authentic Peruvian vibe. We enjoyed Pisco Sours, Chika Marada's and tapas, chatted, planned and all got extremely excited about the 2013 conference and awards. We are especially excited about our world class awardees.

Cape Chamber Executive Director Viola Manual expressed her pride in the strength the Cape Chamber displayed in its support of IWEC through the Dreams Beyond Borders Mentorship Programme and its important contribution to the IWEC International Steering committee, in support of South African and global women in the middle of the business pyramid.
The Cape Chamber will fund the trip for IWEC's unofficial and passionate online marketing guru, Michelle Korevaar, from Spice4Life, who has put IWEC on the Internet 'map'.
Warmest and sincere thanks to Mary-Jean Thomas-Johnson and Nosi Mqikela at the Cape Chamber for adjudication and admin support and Anni's mom Ireley Hoare, for admin support, all deserving recognition for quietly contributing in the background, 'living' and 'breathing' IWEC.
